By accessing or using SentimentFX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About us
The Service is operated by SentimentFX Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC886719. Our registered address is 35 Fallside Road, Bothwell, G71 8BA.
Description of service
SentimentFX provides a crypto sentiment analysis dashboard and developer API. The Service scrapes financial news, scores it using AI models, and correlates sentiment data against cryptocurrency prices.
Not financial advice
The information provided by SentimentFX is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice. Correlation is not causation. Past sentiment patterns do not guarantee future price movements.
You should not make investment decisions based solely on data from SentimentFX. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.
API usage
- API keys are personal and must not be shared or resold
- You may not use the API to build a competing sentiment data product without prior written consent
- You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
- We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse or non-payment
Billing
Free tier users receive 100 API calls at no charge. After 100 calls, usage is billed at £0.01 per call via Stripe at the end of each billing period. Pro dashboard subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
All charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API key. You must notify us immediately at hello@sentimentfx.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime or data inaccuracies.
Intellectual property
The SentimentFX platform, branding, and software are owned by SentimentFX Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or fail to pay for metered usage.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SentimentFX Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
